Well, I’ve got some news for you—it’s over. You can’t join anymore. It’s not just that new affiliates can’t sign up; the entire program has been shut down.
I had been an affiliate for Jasper AI for about 3 or 4 years, but suddenly, at the end of December 2024, I received an email. The gist? They were ending the affiliate program because it was no longer feasible to continue.
I was pretty shocked. I mean, Jasper AI was a big name in AI content writing, especially before ChatGPT came onto the scene. It ruled the market as the king of AI writers. Even now, though its influence has waned with so many new AI tools popping up, people who’ve been using AI writing tools for a while still recognize Jasper AI instantly.
So yeah, it’s surprising that such a well-known tool would just end its affiliate program out of the blue. What does this mean? Probably that they figured they didn’t need affiliates anymore. Paying commissions to marketers wasn’t sustainable, so they decided to cut ties.
It’s a bummer because Jasper AI’s position in the industry has dropped significantly with all these new tools emerging. Continuing to pay affiliates the same commissions became tough as their profitability likely decreased. Despite still having decent monthly recurring revenue compared to lesser-known AI tools, they had to make this call.
This is just my own opinion, though.
From this decision, we can glean a lot about their current state and strategy moving forward. Anyway, long story short—the Jasper AI affiliate program is done and dusted. No one can join anymore.
